Burqin

Etwas westlich von Jenin in der nördlichen Westbank liegt das kleine Dorf Burqin. Es heisst Jesus habe dort das Wunder an den Leprakranken vollbracht. Die kleine Skt. Georg Kirche ist auf jeden Fall eine der ältesten Kirchen im Land und wird auf Wunsch gern für Besucher geöffnet. -- Burqin is a small village a few kilometers west of Jenin in the Northern West Bank. According to Christian tradition, this is the site of one of the miracles of Jesus, where he healed lepers. The small Saint George church is for sure one of the oldest churches in the country and open for visitors upon request.
